Transition - 2026
My name is Mrs V Price‑Tattersall, Senior Leader and Transition Lead at Telford Park School. I’m delighted to welcome all families who have been allocated a place with us for September 2026. We are excited to meet your child soon, and you will receive more information about our transition events and welcome activities shortly.
At Telford Park School, every child is known as an individual. Guided by our school values Be Prepared, Show Respect, Challenge Yourself we provide a strong, knowledge-rich education alongside enriching experiences that help students grow in confidence and character. From cultural visits to work experience, we ensure our students gain the skills and opportunities they need to thrive.
We place great importance on student well-being. Each year group is supported by a dedicated Pastoral Team, an Attainment & Standards Leader, and a daily Form Tutor, who help students stay prepared for learning, build respectful relationships, and challenge themselves academically and personally.
Students also have the chance to make their voices heard through our Student Council and can get involved in a wide range of extra‑curricular clubs from Rock Band to Dungeons & Dragons to Gym Club. If a club isn’t available, we do our best to create it.
To help you and your child get to know us, we have arranged a series of events over the coming months. Please note the dates and times below:
Transition Timetable
- School Tour – Friday 27 March, 9.15am
- School Tour – Wednesday 22 April, 3.30pm
- Afternoon Tea – Thursday 7 May, 3.30–4.30pm
- Meet Your Child’s Form Tutor – Thursday 11 June, 3.30–4.30pm
- Transition Days for pupils – Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 July
- Parent Transition Presentation – Wednesday 8 July (Time to be confirmed)
These events will give you the opportunity to visit the school, meet key staff and ask any questions you may have about life at The Telford Park School. They will also help your child to become familiar with the site, our routines and expectations, and to begin building positive relationships with staff and other pupils.
School Tours
Our first tour will take place on Friday 27th March at 9:15am for any pupils and parents who have not yet had the chance to look around. Please complete the link below to book onto this tour:

If you are unable to attend this date, there will be another opportunity to visit us on Wednesday 22nd April after school. Further details about this second tour will follow after Easter.
