Term time only plus 1 week, 35hrs per week (Mon- Fri) SO1: £21,209-£22,612 (actual salary)

An exciting opportunity has become available at our state of the art schools. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly-motivated and experienced School Counsellor.
Our ethos of ‘Ensuring Excellence’ is at the forefront of everything that we do. The successful candidate will provide an independent and confidential counselling service to pupils over both The Telford Park and Langley Schools.
Our belief is that every child really does matter and that all of our students should feel engaged, challenged and supported in an environment where they can experience success and enjoy their learning.
The successful candidate must have:
· An understanding of the developmental, emotional, social and educational issues of children and young people.
· Experience of working with students demonstrating challenging behaviour or dealing with disadvantaged circumstances.
· The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a developing team.
